Volunteer

Your Library depends on volunteer help from people like you! Volunteering at the Library gives you an opportunity to make your community better.

Teen Volunteers

Your Library offers volunteer opportunities for ages 12-18. Volunteering can fulfill high school community service requirements and boost your resumé! You’ll also learn new skills and make your Library and community better.

Apply to become a volunteer and Library staff will contact you when an opportunity is available. Applications are kept on file for one year.

Teen Volunteer Application

Library users ages 12-18 can also join our Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Help make decisions about your Library’s teen programs, services, and collections in an open forum that meets once a month. Each meeting will earn you one volunteer hour.

Adult Volunteers

Your Library offers volunteer opportunities for adults ages 18 and older. Adult volunteers may assist with: shelving books; helping at special events; delivering library materials to homebound residents; repairing and preserving books; and reading to children at local childcare centers. Volunteering at the Library can help complete community service hour requirements for college.
