Your Library proctors the TWRA Boating Safety exam, as well as professional and academic exams.
TWRA Boating Safety Exam
We proctor the TWRA Boating Safety exam by walk-in or appointment during our regular operating hours. Come to the Library’s second-floor Information Desk to take the test.
You must have purchased a Type 600 boating safety permit prior to taking the exam. You must have this permit with you when you arrive to take the exam.
Please allow approximately one hour to complete the exam. It is administered on a computer, so you must have basic computer skills.

Professional and Academic Exams
We proctor professional and academic exams. Call (423) 434-4454 to schedule an exam time.
Exams must be scheduled with the proctor at least seven days in advance, but preferably 14 days in advance. Tests are scheduled during the proctor’s regular work hours and must be completed 15 minutes before the Library closes.
