As we move into a new season, your Library has a new monthly schedule for preschool storytimes. Browse the list below to find the programs that fit your schedule and preschooler best, then join us throughout the fall!

Please keep in mind that our indoor storytimes have limited space, so we use ticketed entry. This means you’ll need to pick up a ticket at the Children’s Desk when you arrive. Also, if a storytime meets multiple times a week, please choose just one date and time to attend.

First Week of the Month

Bilingual Storytime

Want to expose your preschooler to another language? Bilingual Storytime is held the first Tuesday of the month* at 6 p.m. in the Library’s Storytime Room.

Families with kids ages 2-6 years hear stories and songs in both English and Spanish, then enjoy a craft time afterward.

*Bilingual Storytime also meets the third Tuesday of the month.

Music Morning

Ready to dance and sing with your little ones? Music Morning meets the first Wednesday and Thursday of the month*, at both 10 and 11 a.m., in the Library’s Jones Meeting Center.

The program uses music and movement to promote early literacy and creative expression in kids ages birth-5 years.

*Exception: Music Morning won’t meet in November.

Family Storytime

Does your schedule prevent you from attending weekday storytimes? Family Storytime meets the first Saturday of the month* at 11 a.m. as a weekend alternative. The program is open to all families with kids ages 2-6 years, but it’s especially meant for working parents who can’t bring their kids on weekdays.

The program features books, songs, and activities, and it meets in the Library’s Storytime Room.

*Exception: Family Storytime won’t meet in November.
